PROCTORED - End of Semester Exams
Proctored examinations at AIU are administered online using a combination of Moodle (this exams portal), Safe Exam Browser (SEB), and Microsoft Teams OR Zoom to ensure academic integrity. Moodle serves as the examination platform where students access and submit their exams, while SEB is used to secure the exam environment by restricting access to unauthorized applications and websites. Microsoft Teams is used for live remote invigilation and communication during the examination session.
Students are required to: 1. Access the exam through Exams Portal / Moodle using the provided course links; 2. Launch the exam using Safe Exam Browser (SEB) where applicable AND 3. Join a designated Microsoft Teams meeting for real-time proctoring. Proctored exams are scheduled in three daily sessions: Morning: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM ; Afternoon: 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM AND Evening: 5:30 PM – 8:30 PM
Students are strongly encouraged to regularly check their AIU email and the Exams portal for important updates, including exam instructions, technical requirements, SEB configuration details, and Microsoft Teams links. All students must strictly observe AIU’s examination regulations and academic integrity guidelines throughout the exam session.
